Hotspot Writing Term 4

Hello Again,

Welcome back to my blog today's blog is going to be about my writing.

We are learning to write in past-progressive tense, use powerful action verbs and only include what is powerful, meaningful and important. 

“No, no, no!” I was sliding back into the dream. I kept screaming “Ahhhh”
I was trying not to think of Monsters. Walking to the kitchen to get a drink of water,
I heard a loud noise “BANG BANG”!!! I walked to the door to look outside and
heard someone screaming”AHHHH” I was getting worried that something
dangerous was happening outside. So I Tumbling back into my room and
on the light and on the creaky ground there was a thumping noise outside
“Thump thump thud” I checked If there was something outside, looked under
my bed for anything, I put my hand under to check if there was something
and there was big spooky spikey long un usley thing. I went to get a flashlight
to see what is under my bed, I found the flashlight full of red stuff on the
flashlight and it was coming out from my hand was blood. I was hearing
grasping noise coming underneath my bed I checked again and saw two
beating eyes looking towards me trying to get closer to me.

Hotspot writing

Hello Everyone,

Today and yesterday we have been learning how to be fluent  writers and know what writing fluent feels like.

Here is my writing and there might be mistakes in my writing but keep in mind we only had 5 minutes so we had to put 

anything thing that comes in our mind. We started with a prompt sentence which is highlighted.

He hadn't seen the old man since he was 5 years old and he was sad and happy at the same time because he was now 7. The old man had a disease called cancer. 

After that day the little boy would visit him after or before school. He loved him with all his heart. After a month he was very, very sick and the little boy was so sad so he didn't go to school. He spent all his time with the old man who was his grandpa. He spent every day with him. Mostly he went there just to check in on him and one day he was too late! His grandpa had died in his bed. The little boy was so sad that he would go to his Grandpa's house even though he was not alive. He would always pray to God and say that he is in a good place. He was loved by his Grandpa even though he had only spent one month with him. He turned 10 and he was sad that his grandpa was not there for his 10th birthday but he was happy that his grandpa was in a good place called Heaven.
